Thoughts from a few of the guys over the last few days.
Jay
We have been through the rainforest, come across monkeys and fed the local children which was brilliant. Day 2 was very tough with all of the team suffering from altitude sickness with an epic 9 hour trek across some testing terrain.
We are now on day three and camped below mewenzi mountain feeling alot better from the altitude sickness, but still feeling fuzzy but on all on target to reach the summit.

To my special son and Lobsterpot
This experience from day one till now has been emotional and hard and very special, I have had a lot of time to think and I am so proud to have you in my life.
I also have another family not just friends. The views I have seen are unexplainable. Today, day 3, immense waking with Jay and Keith and the view of the earth’s curvature took my breath away and gave me a big tear. The summit is not far now which we will all definitely hit knowing we are all coming back to look after our families. Love you both with all my heart, me xx
Keith
It’s the end of day 3 now, it all started so well, currently suffering with altitude sickness, feels like me heads been boiled in a pan and whacked with a cricket bat!! Other than that everything is just peachy!!
Seen some seriously amazing landscapes that have moved us, we are all digging in deep now so we can reach the summit and plant the flag at the roof top of Africa!!!!
